Sunday School
The classes are open to all. Come find Biblical answers to your questions of faith.
- Adult Sunday School: Adult Sunday Morning Classes at 9:15 AM.
- Faith 101 class meets in Pastor Wuensche's office. This class is for new people who would like to learn about the Lutheran faith or for church members who would like a refresher course.
- Youth Sunday School: Class levels are as follows:
- Nursery (under 3 years old) - Nursery room in Narthex
- Primary (Pre-K and Kindergarten) New Building
- Junior (Grades 1, 2, 3) New Building
- PreTeen (Grades 4 & 5) New Building
- Jr. & Sr. High School (Grades 6-12) Portable Building Room 11
Faith Lutheran Youth
Choir
Do you like to sing? If so, please join the choir. A wide variety of musical talent is brought together by our director Eric Posada and more voices are always welcome. The Choir meets Wednesdays at 7 PM.
Faith Lutheran Women
The women's circles meet at various times to accommodate work or difficulties getting out in the evening. Our women engage in events for spiritual and social growth. They also provide for various mission needs all over the world. 
- Circle of Love meets every third Monday at 5:30 p.m.
- Circle of Faith meets every second Tuesday at 10 a.m.
- Circle of Peace meets every second Sunday at 9:15 a.m.
- Circle of Charity meets every third Monday at 10 a.m.
- Women's Weekly Bible Study every Tuesday at 12 noon.
Men's Fellowship Breakfast
The men meet every Thursday morning at 7 a.m. at the church. This is a time where the men meet together and informally review inspirational matter (Scripture or otherwise) and share with each other.
Friendly Folks
These mature friends meet every first Thursday of the month from 12 p.m.-2 p.m. to play games and socialize.
Lutheran Student Fellowhip (LSF)
LSF reaches out to university students at Sam Houston State University and meets weekly during regular school semesters. The group meets every Monday evening in the Lowman Student Center (LSC) on the SHSU campus at 7:30 p.m. for fellowship activities and Bible Study.
A Sunday evening meal is served once a month at the home of a Faith Lutheran Church member. If you are a student at SHSU, please come and worship with us and join in the activities of LSF. Take a look at the campus LSF Web Page!
Young Adults
This is a brand new group that is under construction. It is designed to service our young adults that are no longer in high school. Watch for information about this group in the upcoming months. If you have suggestions for this group, please contact Megan Schmidt, our new coordinator for this group!
Campers
Do you like to be in the great outdoors? Whether you have a tent, pop-up camper, trailer or motorhome, we welcome you to join us at least three times a year for a campout. A theme is always picked for each campout. Join us for Bible study, games, sitting by the campfire, fishing, hiking, etc. We usually pick one meal during the campout where everyone brings something that goes along with the theme. EVERYONE is welcome to join us! The more, the merrier!
Care Groups
These groups meet together once a month for Bible study and fellowship. They are located in geographic areas to provide a convenient place to meet. Contact Ken Bleam for your nearest group location.
The Piecemakers (Quilters)
